Case Study:
EY ASEAN Accelerator
Client: Ernst & Young (EY)
Region: Southeast Asia
Participants: 80+ newly promoted managers
Program Format: 6-month virtual group coaching program
Goal: Helping first-time managers step into leadership with confidence, a clear sense of purpose, and the tools to thrive.
The Challenge
Newly promoted managers at EY were at a pivotal point in their careers. As they stepped into larger roles, it was the right moment to bridge the gap between knowing and doing.
EY wanted a program that would:
Help managers apply the tools and frameworks introduced through earlier EY trainings
Reinforce leadership behaviours aligned with EY’s core values
Encourage real-world practice of new behaviours at work
Build a strong peer support system across countries and functions
The goal was not just to build skills, but to develop confident, values-driven leaders ready to lead with purpose.
Our Approach
We designed a 6-month group coaching journey grounded in Corehort’s core principles: peer learning, skilled facilitation, and real-world leadership challenges.
The experience included:
Curated peer groups of 8–10 managers from across the region
Group coaching sessions held every 3 weeks, led by a Corehort facilitator
Real-time leadership challenges and personal growth goals brought into each session
The program began with a virtual kickoff and included intentional moments for reflection, storytelling, and peer support — helping managers feel seen, connected, and stretched.
The Impact
After six months, managers reported that they:
Felt more confident and grounded in their leadership role
Developed a stronger sense of peer connection across borders
Were having better conversations with their teams and seniors
Felt clearer about how they wanted to show up as leaders
NPS: 70.59
World Class Net Promoter Score (NPS)
“The most meaningful takeaway for me from this program is that we are all limitless. We just have to embrace our imperfections, our failures, and our shortcomings. There is no easy road in life. We just have to navigate and trust ourselves that at the end of the road, we can have the fulfillment we've been longing for.”
